    The Bose TV Speaker helps you hear your TV better. It’s a small sound bar that clarifies speech and improves overall TV sound. Inside the TV speaker there are two full-range drivers angled to deliver wide, spacious sound and a center tweeter specifically focused on elevating vocals. Built-in Dolby decoding helps further enhance this compact TV speaker’s audio capabilities to deliver a more realistic and satisfying listening experience. Designed with simplicity in mind, this small soundbar only uses a single connection to the TV via an optical audio cable (included) or an HDMI cable (sold separately) and has you up and running in minutes. At just over 2" tall, the Bose TV Speaker is a compact sound bar that can be placed just about anywhere. And small LED lights on the front of this small soundbar turn on and/or change color for visual confirmation when certain features are enabled. They also blink in acknowledgement of volume changes. The Bose TV Speaker has HDMI-CEC, which allows the TV and this small soundbar to communicate when connected with an HDMI cable. Meaning when you turn the TV on, the TV speaker will automatically turn on too. With this technology, you can even keep using your current TV remote to control the volume of this compact soundbar. However, the Bose TV Speaker comes with its own remote. And on it, you can enable “dialogue mode” on the TV speaker to elevate vocals even more or press the “bass” button for some extra depth. This compact soundbar also is a Bluetooth soundbar. Simply press the Bluetooth button on the remote to pair your device to this Bluetooth TV speaker and wirelessly stream your favorite music or podcasts. You can also expand your system at any time by adding a wired subwoofer to the Bluetooth TV speaker for a more home-theater-like experience.     Bose never disappoints
    I purchased this soundbar almost 3 years ago. I absolutely love it. I've owned Bose speakers in the past and they will forever be my go to. Anyone leaving bad comments on the sound quality should probably adjust the equalizer or sound settings on their TV. The back of my speaker is about 12 inches away from the wall allowing the bass to fill the room without a subwoofer.

    I love my Vizio Smart Tv for picture quality - but tv speakers not good - had to raise volume up over 80 to hear voices clearly - bought a sound bar on sale for around $50 - big mistake - audio kept going out for a few seconds when there were quiet scenes - after investigating the option echo off which supposedly would solve that problem and having to pay approximately $800 - no way - there are many sound bars on market and none seemed to address this issue specifically - I don't care about surround sound etc. - just wanted speaker clarity - anyway decided to spend the money on quality - have had Bose speakers before - sooo easy to install - plug and play - had to purchase HDMI ARC cable - but didn't have to change my smart tv settings - the auto setting picked it up right away -best thing is the clarity and depth of sound even with bass at a medium level and volume now around 35 or less for me to hear everything - very happy - you get what you pay for

    This is exactly what I needed for my use case. I live in a condo with shared walls so neighbors did not appreciate my powerful Sony system with a subwoofer. I got this Bose because it's compact, great for hearing dialogue, and great for music. It has enough bass without a subwoofer. And it's not too powerful, which is a positive thing for my situation. I've had this system for a year with no complaints. Sometimes it doesn't turn on automatically when I turn on the TV. No problem, I just use the Bose remote in those rare cases. Bluetooth connection works but I prefer to stream music from my TV through HDMI connection to this soundbar. I feel like the HDMI connection has noticeably better sound than bluetooth. Not a Bose problem, just bluetooth in general.

    This Bose TV Speaker has pretty good sound quality for the tv because it does sound better than the tv speakers and better volume and the speech is a little clearer, but that's about as far as it goes.
    I purchased this sound bar after looking at many, but mostly because I have been a Bose fan for many decades and in the days of them becoming to where they are now everything was exceptional until I received this product.
    Bose dropped the ball on this one and seem to be living now off their name of top-quality products and service in the past and you know what starts to happen when you cut back on the quality, you start to lose your long time customers and no repurchase's from most new ones so business starts to decline, and we all know what has happened to big companies in the past. You charge high dollars so put back in the quality you use too.
    For two days I have been trying to get a simple question answered from them and no response.
    After purchasing this product, I have come to realize the only subwoofer I can add to this sound bar which has poor bass, is programed only for their brand, and their cheapest woofer starting at $500.00 plus, that is ridicules.
    The Bluetooth is version is 4.2, that came out around 2011 or 12 so outdated, much cheaper brands even have the newer versions, heck the remote is not even Bluetooth! You have to make sure no other devices have Bluetooth on to connect to a single device you want par and listen two, a lot of others allow two at once so you can switch back and forth.
    There is absolutely no way to turn on or control the sound bar if you lose the remote, battery goes bad or if the remote goes bad, but we all know that does not happen now does it?
    For a 300-dollar soundbar especially from Bose I expected more, half was for the name and the other half for the actual worth of the unit and to get more bass I need to spend over $500.00 more when other top brand units come with a sound bar for under $300.00. I should be able to connect other subwoofer brands to this unit but from all my checking only a couple of people have gotten lucky, I have two and neither one will work with this unit when I connected them, so It's kind of like I gotcha from Bose if you want to upgrade your sound bar for $500.00 plus more to Bose.
    Yes, looks like this one is going back to Bose.

    Update: I decided to keep the speaker even as disappointed as I am with this so outdated speaker and mine was made in 2023 and then 28 days after using it just stopped working after being on for about a hour and a half, it only blinks the two lights white 3 times and turns the tv side light green and does this over and over again and will not turn off unless you unplug it, plug it back up and light off a couple of minutes then automatically turns back on and starts the same process over and over, So much for quality Bose I did not even get a months' worth of use and thank goodness I had two days left to return, never again for me Bose. Service is nonexistent never got a answer for a simple question I sent earlier so just imagine how it is with a real problem.

    our tv’s speakers are dying out. we used to have a sound bar that died on us years ago.

    so figured i get another. looked at a few. then stumbled upon this gem. i’m glad i spent extra instead of getting a cheaper one.

    this works… the sound quality is good. i can hear more than music. i can hear dialogue, background music…everything.

    just note to buyers—it comes with an optical audio cable. so if your tv doesn’t have that, then get an hdmi cable so you can connect it to hdmi arc. luckily our tv has an optical audio output!

    First off, the sound is great for the size. Never have been disappointed by any Bose products. For the size of this sound bar (24") compared to my 76" TV it's amazing.

    Second thing, the power cable supplied was the wrong one. The connection to the sound bar requires a plug with a round and square side. The one I got has two round sides. I'll be visiting Best Buy to get the one I need. The one I have works but needs to be propped into place. It works for now.

    The sound, again....awesome!!

    Great sound bar. Simple to set up with HDMI cable and we love the dialogue feature. It works great when there is so much background sound you can’t hear the talking. Turn it on with simple push of the button and voilà you can hear the muffled talking. No regrets.
