    I’m a bit sad to type this review. I’ve used Bose speakers for over 20 years now and have always liked them. They’re not the absolute best and they’re not even the best value. I just really like their sound.

    This soundbar is subpar in my mind. Of course it’s better than the TV sound. Of course the vocals and mids are super clear. That’s all expected from Bose. This just lacks range and depth for an Atmos soundbar. I’m also annoyed about needing the app to make it work correctly.

    I even added a 500 bass module to increase the depth and the two speakers can’t stay connected. From time to time I have to disconnect and reconnect them. This is all just not what I want or expect from Bose. The soundbar is fine as just a soundbar, but not as a Bose soundbar.
