In the April 2023 issue of Elle Magazine they mentioned that the Babor Beauty Group has been carbon neutral since 2020. They continuously plant trees in the Babor forest and power their HQ with green electricity. So if you want to buy from companies concerned with sustainability, look no further.

And their products aren't too bad either. I recently received five different Babor skincare items and I have to say this simple bar soap is my favorite. Many companies are returning to bar soap (the bane of hygiene freaks everywhere) because the minimal packaging makes it much more eco-friendly than liquid cleansers in plastic pump bottles. This soap contains both Baobob Oil and Aloe Vera making it feel very nourishing and gentle on the skin. The oil gives it a bit of a slimy slip, but surprisingly, it retains its structural integrity and seems to last and last. There is no fragrance and virtually no scent either. It creates a moderate lather but takes a bit of effort to rinse. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized.

Sometimes the simplest things are the best.

gently and throughly cleanses and doesn’t try out skin. no scent. the only con i have is it comes in a handy tin and i though it would be handy to have to carry it around but it gets stuck to the tin so i couldn’t get it out. just be aware do that; if you’re traveling.

I got a small bar soap from a hotel in Europe years ago. The scent was so good that I have kept it to this day and I have been trying to figure out what its scent was. This soap from Babor has the exact same scent. It's very light. The scent is listed as unscented and aloe vera on the product page. It's obviously not unscented and I don't think the scent is aloe vera. My 5 star rating could be because of my personal affinity to the scent. This Babor soap is very small. It's less than half the size of a regular bar soap. The soap cleanses and lathers well.

I am not sure why it is so expensive, but it is a really good soap and comes in a nice double tin case with drainage so you avoid a soapy puddle. It will last a long time. My skin feels very clean, looks good, and feels good after washing with it, and is primed for the next step of moisture or serum. Washing my face has been my least favorite skin care step, but now I enjoy it!

As someone with combination skin that generally errs on the side of oily, I was excited to try this bar soap from Babor. While I think the soap works well and lathers nicely, it is definitely on the expensive side for a single bar of soap. While I know this small bar is geared toward travel, especially with the small included drip tray, I don't think I would be likely to take a bar soap with me on a trip. Even though I've enjoyed using it so far and think it is a good soap for oilier skin like mine, I am unlikely to order this again since it is a little bit out of my price range. If you can afford it, however, it might be worth a try.

This cleansing bar has no odor that I can smell. To me it didn't work any better than other products I have used, so for that reason alone I will not be ordering it again with the price on it. It does what it's supposed to do, but nothing magical about it!

This is a small bar soap that seems to go a long way! I actually use it on my body as well as face. I like that is has no scent and seems to clean my sensitive skin without any irritation and leaving zero residue! This does not dry out my skin and leaves me feeling fresh & clean. I really like it and the storage tin is very handy as well!

I ordered this Babor Natural Cleansing Bar because I used their products at a spa I worked at years ago and know that their products are top notch. A little bit of this soap goes a long way. It has an extremely light scent that I was only able to smell after I put it on my face and lathered it. Even then, it was very light.
This bar cleaned my skin and removed my makeup very well. It rinsed easily and thoroughly, leaving my skin silky smooth. This soap is made in Germany. It is good for any skin type. I was very pleased the way it worked for my combination skin.
It comes in an attractive tin for storage that has a strainer to keep the soap dry so it doesn't get stuck to the bottom. The only downside to this soap is that it is quite pricey.

Ich habe mir die Cleansing bar Seife von babor zum Testen bestellt. Die Seife kamen richtig gut. Verpackt in einem ultra luxuriösen und hochwertigen Döschen an. Da ich schon den leansing balm von babor verwende, benutze ich hier das seifenstück, wenn meine Haut besonders ölig und fettig ist. Denn da nehme ich einfach das seifenstück und trage es mir in die handflächen auf. Verteile es dann in mein Gesicht und gehe dann noch mal mit an reinigungstool drüber. Die Seife schäumt leicht hat einen super angenehmen Geruch und eine richtig seidige buttrige Textur, welche ich einfach nur super angenehm finde. Die Seife reinigt wirklich gründlich, aber ohne die Haut auszutrocknen oder zu irritieren. Ich kann danach wirklich ein absoluten Unterschied merken. Meine Haut fettet nicht mehr so extrem und ich habe erstmal wieder für ein paar Tage ein viel matteres hautbild. Das preis-leistungsverhältnis ist daher für mich persönlich richtig gut, da ich die Seife nicht unbedingt täglich verwende. Nur dann, wenn ich sie wirklich brauche und da macht sie einen absolut fantastischen Job. Ich würde mir die Seife jederzeit wieder bestellen. Werde ich auch machen, sobald sie aufgebraucht ist. Auch als Geschenk finde ich sie super geeignet, da sie in einer richtig tollen kleinen Dose kommt und man sie wirklich auch schick im Badezimmer drapieren kann.

Ich durfte den Babor Natural Cleansing Bar im Rahmen des Amazon Vine Programms kostenlos testen und möchte folgend meine unvoreingenommene Meinung zu dem Produkt teilen.
Hierbei habe ich unter anderem zuerst auf die Inhaltsstoffe geschaut. Die Seife ist vegan, pH neutral, dermatologisch getestet und frei von Farbstoffen, Silikonen, Parabenen, PEGs, Mikroplastik, Laktose, Gluten und Mineralölen. Top! da habe ich schon mal nichts zu meckern.
Sonst kommt die unparfümierte Seife in einer schicken Metalldose daher, die für die tägliche Aufbewahrung und vor allem auch die Mitnahme auf Reisen geeignet ist - sehr schön.
Nun aber zu der eigentlichen Wirkung: Auch nach nun einigen Wochen der Anwendung habe ich die Seife trotz meiner sehr empfindlichen, zu Rötungen neigenden Mischhaut sehr gut vertragen. Die Haut fühlt sich nach dem Waschen sauber und geschmeidig an und spannt nicht. Das ist bei Mischhaut schon mal ein großes Plus, weil die meisten Reiniger auf den trockenen Stellen zu wenig pflegen, auf den fettigen Stellen aber oft zu viel und die Haut dann schneller wieder glänzt.
Um ehrlich zu sein konnte ich keine sicht- oder spürbare Verbesserung bei den fettigen Hautstellen erkennen, aber allein dass die Seife für beide Regionen gut geeignet ist und nicht austrocknet ist für mich schon mal ein Plus.
Einzig der Preis ist ein Nachteil, denn 25 € für einen Gesichtsreiniger finde ich nicht wenig Geld, diese Anschaffung würde ich mir gut überlegen. Die reine Seife ohne die Metalldose kostet trotzdem noch über 21 €, da werde ich bei der Nachbestellung schon Ausschau nach Angeboten halten, da ich den Preis als zu hoch empfinde. Die Seife selbst kann ich durchaus empfehlen, allerdings hat es für die fünf Sterne dann doch nicht gereicht.

Ich habe bereits einige Produkte der deutschen Kosmetikmarke BABOR verwendet und war bislang immer zufrieden. Deshalb war ich auf die erste feste Gesichtsreinigung des Unternehmens sehr gespannt.

Da die Gesichtsreinigung wie eine Seife aussieht und auch so angewendet wird, nenne ich sie im Text einfachheitshalber mit dieser Bezeichnung. Die Seife von BABOR kommt in einem weißen Produktkarton. Darin ist ein weiß lackiertes Aluminiumdöschen mit der Seife. Das erzeugt schon mal einen guten Eindruck, da man gleich eine gute und stilvolle Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit für die Seife hat. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit, das Produkt ohne Box zu kaufen oder nachzukaufen.

Die Seife hat nur 65 g Inhalt statt der üblichen 100 g. Durch die kleine, abgerundete Form liegt der Natural Cleansing Bar gut in der Hand, ohne ständig weg zu flutschen. Das Seifenstück ist unparfümiert, riecht aber dennoch angenehm.

Anstelle von aggressiven Tensiden wie Sodium Lauryl Sulfate enthält die Seife das pflanzliche Sodium Coco-Sulfate von der Kokosnuss, welches die Haut nicht austrocknen oder reizen soll. Daneben sind pflanzliche Inhaltsstoffe wie Aloe Vera, Akazien-Extrakt, Schleierkraut, Baobab (Affenbrotbaum), Wüstendattel und Moringa eingesetzt worden. Das klingt interessant und ist mal etwas anderes.

Die feste Gesichtsseife schäumt gut in den Händen auf und lässt sich leicht auftragen. Nach dem Einmassieren wird der Schaum wie bei anderen Seifen auch mit etwas warmem Wasser abgespült. Meine Haut verträgt das Produkt nach ein paar Wochen Nutzung sehr gut. Die Haut sieht gründlich gereinigt, weich und mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt aus. Der Baobab-Extrakt soll die Hautbarriere stärken und ist rückfettend. Jedenfalls scheint der Cleansing Bar bestens für ölige und Mischhaut geeignet zu sein. Tagsüber fettet meine Haut nicht nach, ist aber auch nicht trocken.

Ich habe eine empfindliche Mischhaut und kann nicht jede Seife benutzen. Das ist immer problematisch, wenn ich unterwegs bin.
Zur Testung habe ich diesen festen Gesichtsreiniger zu einer zwei- Wochen Reise mitgenommen. Und ich muss sagen, dass ich damit sehr zufrieden bin.

Erstens ist die Verpackung extrem praktisch. Die Dose mit Ablauf hält die Seife sauber und trocken. Die Dose kann unproblematisch in die Tasche gesteckt werden. Man hat genug Produkt für mehrere Wochen und spart sich die Fragen bei der Sicherheitskontrolle im Flughafen, da es nicht flüssig ist.

Zweitens habe ich nach zwei Wochen Anwendung keinerlei Reaktionen oder Nebenwirkungen festgestellt. Meine empfindliche Haut hat diesen Gesichtsreiniger sehr gut vertragen. Er reinigt schnell die Haut von Make-up, Schweiß und Fett, ohne sie zu trocknen.

Ich habe keine bedenkliche Inhaltsstoffe in der Komposition gefunden. Dazu ist die nachhaltige und wiederverwendbare Verpackung ein Plus! Später soll man einfach das Produkt ohne Dose nachbestellen.

Meiner Meinung nach kann dieser Gesichtsreiniger sowohl von Männern als auch von Frauen benutzt werden. Er riecht neutral und sanft.

Mit dem aktuellen Angebot von 17 Euro ist das Produkt sehr empfehlenswert! Der normale Preis ist etwas übertrieben...
