Not Bad But A Step Down From It's Predecessor
This is obviously a cheaper quality model than the one that came before it (which has lasted us 6 years) and is still running, but age is age.I like that it's fundamentally the same inexpensive machine, that's available in white for ease of cleaning, and still in a 12 cup capacity. I also like The decorative silver ring being relocated to the top of the grain area, rather than the bottom, like the older model.Unfortunately, the plastic from this machine down to the carafe lid is much thinner and lesser quality. There also appears to be a design flaw in many of these, that tends to make the machine leak from the main lid. I ordered a second unit, and for me, that seems to have solved that issue.The last point, is the buttons are a more traditional styled recessed buttons, rather that the previous version (with lifted and coated) style buttons for easy one-wipe cleaning. These traditional buttons give the appearance, that a coffee spill could get down into the electronics.We'll give this one a try, but I don't have high hopes for another 6 years..lol
