Ward D Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
Medical student Amy Brenner is spending the night on a locked psychiatric ward.
Amy has been dreading her evening working on Ward D, the hospital’s inpatient mental health unit. There are very specific reasons why she never wanted to do this required overnight rotation. Reasons nobody can ever find out.
And as the hours tick by, Amy grows increasingly convinced something terrible is happening within these tightly secured walls. When patients and staff start to vanish without a trace, it becomes clear that everyone on the unit is in grave danger.
Amy’s worst nightmare was spending the night on Ward D.
And now she might never escape.

It’s hard to explain how much of a genius you would have to be to keep my attention. But this book was a master piece that had me captivated from start to finish. It was so cunningly clever, that I’m so embarrassed I could not guess the end twist and then she wraps it up so nicely and presents lingering questions making great for group discussions.
Thank you so much for the ride Freida. My pre order of your latest book has just arrived. So guess what I’m doing tonight.
Highly recommend this book. Great story, Great pacing, great twist.
“Ward D" by Freida McFadden is an incredible read that I simply couldn’t put down! Just like the protagonist Amy, I found myself sleep deprived because I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
The twists and turns in this novel are out of this world. Every time I thought I had figured out what was going on, McFadden threw another curveball that left me questioning everything.
This book quickly became one of my Freida favorites. The suspense, the characters, and the unpredictable plot make it a highly recommended read.
I’m left yearning for a sequel. I can’t help but wonder, where are Will and Amy now? Did Amy give into the desires of the little girl in the pink ruffle dress? Freida, we need a book two!
**Highly recommend!**

This was a bingeable book. I could not stop read. I never finish a book in pretty much 24h and this was it.
What would you do if you were a medical student and you were assigned to work on the psychiatric floor for one night? How would feel knowing that your ex changed shift to be with you and to top it off, your childhood best friend is a patient?
Ward D is a very fast pace book with lots of mind playing (psychological thriller at its best!). It keeps you guessing the whole time. Who can you trust? It makes you question about everything.
The last 80 ish pages are jaw dropping with a twist!! I know some people aren’t fans of the end but I enjoyed it! I think it adds a little something to it.
I do recommend this book! I love it!
