Here's the thing with this tea tree shampoo/cream rinse set; I have long hair. I have a "favorite" cream rinse and shampoo that I've used for many years; but, when I tried this, I immediately ordered a second set. The shampoo really gets sudsy and cleans my hair and makes it shiny without drying it out. The conditioner really softens my hair and the tangles come out easily. My hair smells so good and LOOKS great! The dry fuzzies (baby hairs) blend in so nicely and my hair looks so shiny, healthy, and soft. And now that is the odor is gone, I can really appreciate now nice my hair looks and feels! Tea tree oil is good for removing product buildup (hence why this is called "clarifying"), moisturizing hair, and scalp issues. It's antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties can help with psoriasis and dandruff. In the past I've always found clarifying shampoos to be very drying, but this one was not at all. My hair was left feeling so soft, smooth and looks so shiny! I only air dry my hair but after using this product it feels like I styled it (much smoother and less frizzy than usual!).
Overall, I love aquableu shampoos and conditioners and this one is no exception. They are one of few more "natural" shampoos and conditioners that actually lather and clean well, and the conditioners really help keep my hair nice and moisturized. If they found a way to remove the odor of tea tree oil this would probably be my new favorite. As it is though, I will probably use this product once a month to keep product buildup under control, I would use it a lot more often if I can adjust to the smell. If you can handle a strong tea tree odor for about 12 hours after using it, I would definitely recommend this product!

First things first - if you've never smelled tea tree oil before, boy oh boy are you in for a treat. (Not). Its probably one of my least favorite smells on earth. I knew that coming into this though, so I *did* expect it to smell awful, but it's even stronger than I expected. During my shower the smell was so overwhelming. The good news though is that I wash my hair before bed and by the next morning the scent was much less noticeable. I could only really smell it if I pulled my hair right up to my nose.
