I read some negative reviews on this Attitude Super Leaves shampoo for colored hair, and don't understand them. This shampoo is certified by the Environmental Working Group, so it is essentially toxic free! Women are exposed to, on average, 168 toxins a day, due mostly to the junk in health and beauty products! Why not reduce the toxic load??? This shampoo will not suds up a lot, because it doesn't have sodium laurel sulfate which is an emulsifier--it strips hair of natural oils, is an irritant, dulls color, and is bad for our streams and lakes. This product cleans adequately, and leaves my fine straight hair nice and shiny! I also use the matching Super Leaves conditioner, in small amounts on the ends. I recommend it. FYI the bottles are glass, so good bye micro plastics.

I wanted to change to a shampoo and conditioner which are safer and “cleaner” than my previous brand. This was recommended. I’ve only used it a few times so I’m still on the fence. I like the scent, and the conditioner does its job. But the shampoo really doesn’t lather much and I’m using a pretty large amount to get my hair to feel as clean as I want. More later if I change my mind.

I have quite thick, long, straight fine hair. I have struggled with finding the right shampoo, and often end up using purifying shampoos given the thickness of my hair and the possibility for build up. I don’t dye my hair, but I do have major photo bleaching. So I struggle with my hair being both greasy and dried out on my blondest bits. This shampoo effectively cleans my hair, gives it volume, and doesn’t dry it out. I have still been using a pretty moisturizing conditioner to follow up, but this has really worked for me. The pump mechanism kind of sucks, and I have to use a fair amount for my hair. But overall totally worth it for me!
