I had an issue with the purchased items, so I contacted Asurion, which I bought to protect said items. They made me go through all the formalities of opening a request and submitting photos of the items. After all that hassle, they simply emailed me with a lame excuse stating,"We can't approve your claim.We reviewed your NO SUPPORTING MANUFACTURER SECURITY CAMERA claim.As a result, we're unable to approve your claim."What does that even mean? What is the use of a protection plan when it does not protect my purchase of defective items? I contacted the manufacturer of the items and after going through the same process, they shipped me new functioning items. Case closed, I returned the protection plan and got a refund. At least, Amazon was quick with the refund. No heartburn there!I don't write many reviews of products purchased via Amazon but with this one, I feel I should warn potential buyers.

I've used asurion for multiple products. Ever time the return or replace or refund process is painless. They make the standard for this kind of insurance. Other companies start out this good and fade. This is as good as Costco returns.

We have purchased the extended warranty on a number of items & used it a couple of times. The first time, they were able to do a repair & return the item to us. The second time they were not able to do a repair, so they refunded us once we sent the broken unit to them via prepaid UPS label they provided. It is definitely worth spending a little extra to get those 3 yrs of added protection beyond the manufacturers warranty.

if your product is broken, they will take care of you, i’ve used a claim several times for several different products and have been taken care of.

I have been calling since last week. My claim was approved but no one has contacted me back about when Ups is coming to get the speaker. When I called they told me I had to go to Amazon, when I called Amazon they told me I had to call Asurion, neither or company can seem to assist me with a replacement cord and I have the Asurion protection. I want my Asurion money back since no one can answer the phone and or give me a proper answer. Mind yall Asurion said they was going to have Ups pick it up in a 24-48 hrs that was 4 days ago, when I called back today I have been hung up on 5 times consecutively this is the most disrespectful company possible and the fact that you guys would offer to help people and protect their electronics is distasteful because it’s false advertisement. If I would’ve known that you guys weren’t going to send me a replacement cord and I was gonna have to buy my own. I would’ve never opted for the protection plan because I’m not protecting nothing. And the fact that I have to send you guys the whole speaker just for you guys to check it out to make sure that it was just the cord is insane never again. Don’t promise protection and completely neglect the buyer and or your word. Y’all did nothing for me as far as a protection plan goes besides cause me trauma, headaches, triggered my PTSD and anxiety through the roof. Y’all are a trash company entirely!!!
