The scent is not overpowering. When your hair dries your hair does actually feel softer and not so tangled. My only complaint was that instead of the push portion being locked down into the off position it was up where it could be pushed down which means that there was conditioner wasted on the inside of the package. It wasn't massive amounts but if you were ordering more than one thing in packaging it might make a mess over the rest of your order. I had the same problem with the shampoo that I ordered at the same time but for whatever reason they came in separate packages. So other than that it seems like it's a nice conditioner shampoo combination and I would recommend it to someone it's not a bad product at all.
