I was given £100 gift card from Virgin Media so I've decided to treat myself to Richard Morphy slow cooker after reading the reviews. The reason for the 4 star because the delivery driver decided to put it in my garden bin and got pricked by nettles and when I opened the package it came with euro plug adaptor not UK adaptor. Thankfully I had an adaptor on my electric toothbrush so I've no choice but to use that. The slow cooker it self is perfect size for me and my son, light weight and so easy to clean unlike my old slow cooker I had in the past. I like that you can sear it on the cooker and transfer it back afterwards but the only downside is it gets very hot so I had to wear my oven gloves.Its a perfect slow cooker, ideal for small family like myself.

Because the cooking pot is aluminium, rather than ceramic, it is MUCH lighter in weight. The pot is also Non-Stick so cleaning will be a doddle.

Handy gadget for multitasking people. I often try and do cooking, cleaning and all that and forget the food on the cooker for too long. This gadget offers peace of mind and also keeps the flavours of the veg better. Nice design, lightweight, feels quality. For those of you who haven’t succumbed to the enjoys of a slow cooker, I should let you know that it is both economical and easy to use. Way before we had the pressures on saving energy as a new nation, we have been trying to be greener with our energy consumption. As this uses small amounts of energy to cook slowly during the day, you can set it cooking when you go out and return home to a fully cooked meal.

This slow cooker has advantages over older models in that the main pot is a nonstick steel pan rather than the ceramic models. This makes it easier to clean, and far easier to bring to the table. It also heats up faster.

Its function is simple but I should say that the dial doesn’t put the settings in an intuitive order. After you’ve got used to it though, it’s childsplay.

You can cook a whole chicken in the pot, although I should warn you that it will be incredibly soft and falling off the bone. If you want a firm chicken with crispy skin you need a different kind of cooker. If you want to have great warming stews and soups, Or even curries, this is ideal.

In the coming cold winter of 2022, this will be a godsend. Cannot recommend more highly

I had a slow cooker a few years ago, a HUGE 6.5l behemoth with a ceramic pot that was impossible to clean and fantastically heavy. In the end, it was just too unwieldy and I gave it away - but have missed the one-pot cooking ability ever since.

This little number, firstly, is beautiful to look at. I ordered the one in black and rose and it's a really, really lovely little thing to look at and have on my kitchen side.

I am still surprised and delighted by how light the crock pot is inside and how much of a difference it makes to be able to take it out, fry on the hob then drop it right back into the slow cooker (which I've left heating up so there's no drop in temp as the pot is replaced).

It still has a decent capacity - 3.5l is a good amount to cook, though no more huge freezer binge cooks unless I don't also serve what I'm cooking for dinner.

Small problems.

It heats up quickly enough, and I also really love the "medium" setting, which is, so far, where I've left it for the majority of the time. And when you're done, it cleans up SUPER fast and without any need to scrub. So far we've made 2 soups and one stew, each one a major success with my 15 year old son who has finally decided to come and cook with me.

Amazon wants me to review "flavour", but I find that's a silly thing to review as either they're asking me to review my cooking, your cooking or what the thing itself tastes like.

It's a fabulous little slow cooker and will easily feed a hungry family of 4. We're genuinely thrilled with it - right now it's full of French Onion soup that we made early this morning ready for lunch later. :)

This was bought as a replacement for my Crook pot after 2 ceramic bowl cracked. The metal liner is easy to clean, you can use it on the hob and its dishwasher safe although it's so easy to clean, ours is just washed by hand.
I have also just purchased Bored with Lunch slow cooker book which has opened a whole new world of cooking with out fuss.
I'm now looking to buy the smaller Morphy Richards sear and stew !

Dieses Produkt habe ich schon zum 2. Mal bestellt, das erste habe ich an meiner Tochter weiter gegeben - sie ist auch begeistert. Die Handhabung ist einfach und die Ergebnisse sehr gut. Toll ist, dass man den inneren Topf direkt auf dem Herd (nicht Induktion!) benutzen kann um Fleisch vorweg anzubraten. Mein erstes Gerät war rot, nun gab es Black and Rose Gold was auch super aussieht und sogar besser in meiner Küche passt. Vorsichtig muß man natürlich sein da der Topf mit Teflon beschichtet ist, keine kratzende Bestecke nehmen! Die Bedienungsanleitung fand ich sehr gut und es gibt sogar ein paar Rezepte dabei. Bücher für Slowcooker gibt es reichlich bei Amazon oder im Handel zu kaufen. Dieses 3,5l Gerät passt gut für 4 gute Portionen.
