The content of the book is brilliant.Excellent recipes and arrived on time and a great price but when I opened the book I initially thought there was something that had been spilt on it, but looking more closely, I think it is a printing issue.

Great recipes. Lots to add to our repertoire here! Not so interested in the non foodie part of the book, but hey... It's Joe Wicks, what do you expect!?

I was a bit skeptical at first buying Joe Wicks books however I was pleasantly surprised that this turned out to be a good book. Im an at home mum and i do struggle to cook meals let alone thinking about what to cook when your trying to juggle everyday life however the reciepes in this book was good and easy to follow and i was surprised at the variety of reciepes this book had to offer. Overall i would recommend buying

I really love this book. The recipes are so quick and easy, healthy and tasty! I've tried similar recipes from other books which takes as least double the time and doesn't taste as good. The only downside is that it does not include the nutritional information for the recipes.

I decided to go veggie in January, but was a little stuck for meal ideas. I try really hard to eat well, but also work long hours, so my priority was to find a book with tasty recipes that were easy and quick to prepare.
This book met and exceeded all of my expectations. The instructions are easy to understand, with ingredients you can find in every supermarket and the results are delicious.

I would say that some of the recipes take longer than suggested, but I always find this with 'quick cook' recipe books.

I would thoroughly recommend this book and am looking forward to working my way through the recipes.

I’m not a veggie but just wanted some more ideas for healthier eating. Was not disappointed! This has tons of recipes I am dying to try. (Pretty much all of them in fact). Tried 5 so far - tasty! Not full of recipes with tofu / quorn / meat subs (which I can’t stand). Also uses loads of everyday ingredients so no big expensive shops for stuff you don’t usually buy. Also needed more recipes that are quick to prepare- job done.

Love the recipes in this book and the fact most are for 1 person, so no halving/quartering of quantities and no waste. I'm not a vegetarian but I wanted to improve my diet. The food is just so different and flavourful. Definitely heavy on certain ingredients- spring onions, limes and garlic spring to mind! Fresh and delicious, I've loved everything I've cooked so far and have at least 4 days a week meat free. Portion sizes are huge - great if you're a fit young man doing bonkers amounts of exercise a day! (The exercise pages remain pristine and unexplored I'm ashamed to say!). I have no need to lose weight but a recipe for 1 provides me with TWO meals.

When I opened this book, I was very excited - all the recipes look amazing.
Showed my daughter and she was equally excited, she said "Dad - I want to try everything".
We have made about 8 of the recipes so far, and on the whole, not found one that we want to make again.
They are easy enough, but taste quite bland.
Be prepared to quadrouple everything, because most recipes are for 1, and there are 4 in our family.
Even then, the taste is very disappointing.
Tried a few curries, the orzo rice dish, some breakfasts, the only thing we likes so far was the grilled Halloumi.
Going to keep going, but so far, not very impressed.

Really great book for new vegetarians / vegans. Have found many dishes completely new to my palette, especially on the vegan front like the peanut sweet potato curry, fennel stew and hoisin tofu!

Some reviews have been quite negative around the ‘originality’ of the recipes, there’s only so many times you can reinvent the wheel. Yes it has halloumi burgers and fries, but it’s done in a fairly healthy way, you’re here to enjoy food not have the soul and fun sucked out of it.

Putting chipotle paste in a chilli was a game changer. Thanks Joe

I really thought ‘diet’ vegetarian food would tasteless cardboard for breakfast, lunch and dinner but I’m very happy to report the opposite! There’s a really good selection of delicious meals and it’s certainly converted me.

We meal prep for work and even have ‘cheat’ days (/weekends) all from this book. Even if you’re not looking to ‘get lean’ this is a great vegetarian cookbook.
