    This is the second one we bought for grandchildren. The two handled design, with viewing holes for both eyes, is perfect for little children who take endless pictures. It will take a card to store more pictures if you really want to keep thousands. The picture quality is surprisingly good and can be printed. The lens style prevents the child from accidentally covering part with their little fingers. Especially recommended for children whose favourite colour is pink.

     I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer, raising a family and using similar devices

    I bought this (at my wife insistence) for our bright 3 year old grand daughter.

    The instructions are reasonably good although I would have preferred more details in bigger print.

    My old eyes struggled. A child would have little chance of interpreting them into being able to use them.

    Turn on / off. EASY

    Take selfies. EASY.

    ZOOM for bigger or smaller picture size. EASY.

    USE THE SPECIAL EFFECTS BUTTONS.
    NOT AT ALL EASY.

    Switch picture to video. EASY

    The camera appears to be well made with plenty of built in padding so that it will be fairly robust IF looked after properly.

    Fitting batteries and a SIM card was EASY.

    My granddaughter is delighted and you can tell such fro the reaction when opening the wrapped gift.

    She is a bright clever child but it will still take repeated and patient instructions and assistance with the child to enable her to use the camera.

    OVERALL, it is expensive for its capabilities but the nieche comes with young child specific protection.

    The colours of the camera are bright and pleasing to look at.

    Screen appears quite dull to me and I have been using LCD camera with screens for many years.

    Not yet attached or tested through a laptop so actual picture capability is not known

    We bought this for my son for his third birthday. He figured out how to take pictures really quickly . It’s really simple to use.
    Picture quality isn’t great as it’s a bit fuzzy, but the pictures are still okay! He has lots of fun taking pictures round the house and it’s been dropped a lot and we’ve not had any issues with it.
    Few games on there that he likes to play occasionally but they don’t hold his interest for too long.
    They are some boarders that you can use to take pictures.
    We also bought one for our four year old niece and she gets on with it well too. I imagine they will play with this for a few more years yet.
    Easy to charge , and can take the SD card to get the pictures onto your laptop.
    Good present for ages 3-7 Id say.

    The camera requires 6 AAA batteries, which are behind tow screed lids, this makes it quite inconvenient for a child to manage.My daughter also complains that is hard to use, compared to another version of the Kidizoom camera that a friend has (which triggered he interest in having one).
    I'm really disappointed, I'm only keeping it because it was a Santa present, but cannot recommend this product at all.
