As a dietitian I’ve always valued evidence-based practice however until I met Anjali and read her work (including this book) I didn’t think to apply it to my skin care!
I’ve always had the odd spot growing up but last year broke out with terrible acne on my cheeks; after speaking to Anjali and acquiring the knowledge in this book my skin has now never looked as good; I’m COMPLETELY acne free & my skin actually has a glow to it (I’m almost 32!). Who new it was all down to the products that I was/wasn’t using on my skin.. it wasn’t down to my diet or stress (for me anyway).
I bought this book not only for myself but for my sister too as I think she will benefit massively from it; I love how Anjali breaks down complicated topics into simple, easy to read pieces of information and I WILL NOT be buying any more skin care unless I’ve read up on it first.
I love this book as there is something for everyone; from acne to anti-aging (I need both of those!) to stretch marks, SPF & rosacea too.
You need this book in your life to save money & heartache.. I for one know how much upset my bad skin has brought me in the past.
Thank you Anjali SO much (and the Penguin girls) for writing this book. It’s just what we needed.

However this book is BY FAR THE BEST and it's going to save me a lot of money in the future . I read this book in one day learning about different skin concerns, acne, dark circles, cellulite, stretch marks, roseaca, pregnancy, hormones. It is written so well that you don't have to be a scientist to understand the language, she goes through what ingredients to look for when buying products and the fact that a cheaper cream will have the exact same as a £100 pot and that face masks only work for that initial evening , they don't penetrate deep enough in the skin cells to make a lasting effect.
Every person should buy this, it's an eye opener and could save you hundreds !
This book is honest and I no longer believe everything I see online about 'acne cures' thanks to this book.
Since suffering with acne since a young teenager I have seeked medical advice, attempted to self medicate and read many skin books, but The Skincare Bible is by far the most informative and well explained publication I have ever read.
The Skincare Bible has changed the way I look after my skin, from the foods I put inside my body to the creams I apply on top of it.
It is very reasonably priced, however, I would have happily paid double for the amount of knowledge it has provided me with.
I recommend this book to every person that is interested in taking care of their health, skin, and wanting to look and feel they best they can. Young, old, male or female, The Skincare Bible is a must read.

È un libro scritto in maniera scientifica, ma ben comprensibile anche da un amante della tematica della pelle e della cura della pelle stessa.
