If one parent unit is not enough, you can expand the set with an additional parent unit for even better supervision. Highly sensitive microphone You won't miss a sound from your baby, even when you are not around. The high-sensitivity microphone picks up every sound and also gives an indication per LED light.     The monitor works fine, but it has a major flaw- it doesn’t recharge re-chargeable batteries in the parent monitor when plugged into mains power, so if you want to unplug it for use around the house you have to charge batteries separately and install them or use disposable batteries. The instruction manual confirms this. My old BT monitor re-charged its batteries when plugged in. The design of this Motorola makes no sense- very disappointing

    Even on the lowest volume, I have to bury the receiver in my carpet and lie the microphone end down at the other end of the room from my baby so I don't jump out of my skin when it turns on. So so loud. Works fine in every other way.
