Paid for the City TV service to watch Poker Face via prime. This app has so many commercials it's almost unbearable. I won't be renewing this app service after I'm done the series. Honestly possible the worst app add on I've ever used. It would be different if I were watching free shows via the regular City Tv app, but the paid version??? WTF!

It works reasonably well though they don't make it clear you need a cable provider login for most of the content. I knew that before I downloaded it however it didn't make it clear. My main issue is that after watching a few episodes the app stops working and thinks I need to login again but the page doesn't work. I have to close the app and turn off the fire stick and start over. It's frustrating.

My recommendation, do not do it. Ads (about four 30 second ads per 22 minute show) are unskippable. Not ideal but not great. However, if you pause for a few minutes, they throw an extra ad at you. If you pause just before another ad break, you may resume but not before watching 2 ads in a row. You want to rewind? Yea you gotta watch those ads again. You accidentally rewind and stop during the portion of the stream with an ad? Yea you gotta watch that ad before you rewind further. Then you have the pleasure of watching the same ad again a minute or two later!

All in all, you pay half the price of prime for a service that has half the content, doesn’t run its own platform (branches off prime for exposure and cost savings), and throws ad after ad at you. It’s like paying for YouTube premium but receiving the same experience as regular YouTube.

I signed up and made it 4 days before cancelling my subscription. Do what you like, just a warning.

It did work some times wanted to watch let's make a deal it cut out 10 minutes before price is right ended and has not been back on since that is why my fire stick needs to be Canadian registered I have 5 fire sticks 3 in Florida and 2 in Canada I can get all the American stuff and a bit of the Canadian stuff but not city or a few other Canadian apps I have tried.
