Madison police are investigating the shooting death of an unidentified man on Wednesday in north Alabama.
Officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting on Miller Boulevard near Old Madison Pike, police said, and found one man on the ground with possible gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital by paramedics and eventually pronounced dead.
Madison police are investigating the shooting as a homicide. “This appears to be an isolated incident and there is reason to believe the victim and offender were known to each other,” police said in a statement.
