One of the best Sam’s Club Plus membership perks is coming to an end.

Sam’s Club Plus members have a number of perks, including free shipping. But starting Aug.19, Plus members will only get free shipping on orders from Sam’s Club’s website or app on “qualifying orders of $50 or more.”

Sam’s Club will charge a flat rate shipping fee of $8 for orders under $50.

The company announced the change via email on June 19, reports FOX Business.

Sam’s Club breaks down the changes on the FAQ portion of its website.

“By adding a cart minimum, we are increasing access to different ways of shopping for our members,” said the company. “This will make it easier for you to get the products you want, the way and at the time you want.”

Sam’s Club will use A.I. to check receipts

Sam’s Club is rolling out artificial intelligence technology that will confirm members’ purchases as they exit the stores.

The new verification technology, which replaces physical receipt checks, has so far been deployed at 120 Sam’s Club locations across the United States, reports USA Today.

Under the system, customers will pay at the register or via Scan & Go, and then the combination of computer vision and digital technology will capture images of the carts and verify payment of all items within a member’s basket before they leave the store.
