As people wait for updates on what’s to be done with the once popular Brookwood Village mall, many say they would like to bring some international flair to the now vacant property.
In a poll conducted earlier this year, The Birmingham News asked readers what they would like to see happen to the former Brookwood Village mall property that sits on the border of Mountain Brook and Homewood. Out of hundreds of responses, one of the more popular suggestions was to bring in an IKEA.
