EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - More drivers in Vanderburgh County are going to have to find ways to get around.

County highway officials just announced two more projects that will have roads shut down for months.

Officials say beginning on or after June 10, Boonville New Harmony Road will be closed east of Bender Road in order to replace a bridge.

Boonville New Harmony will be closed for up to five months for this project, and it will be closed to all traffic.

The signed detour for this project will be Bender Road, Baseline Road, and St. Joseph Avenue.

Also starting on or after June 10, St. Joseph Road will be closed at Neu Road in order to replace a bridge.

St. Joseph Road and Neu Road will both be closed to all through traffic for the duration of the project.

The completion date for this project is September 9, but that depends on the weather.

The signed detour for this project will be St. Joseph Road, No. 6 School Road, Neu Road, St. Paul’s Drive, and St. Wendel Road.
