Emily Burns is the wellness market reporter at Women’s Wear Daily and Beauty Inc. Prior to joining the team, she was the assistant beauty editor at ELLE Magazine. She has also written for New York Magazine’s The Cut, Art Net, Brooklyn Magazine and The Knot, covering fashion, beauty and culture. Burns holds a bachelors and masters in journalism from Northwestern University and a masters in fashion management from Parsons at The New School. When she’s not writing about all things wellness, she’s probably sipping an Aperol spritz or snuggling with her cat Wednesday.
