Michigan football earned maybe its biggest recruiting win yet with the news 2025 Winter Garden (Florida) West Orange four-star safety Ivan Taylor flipped from Notre Dame to the Wolverines.

The son of former NFL star Ike Taylor, Ivan will pair with Gonzaga High School (Washington D.C.) four-star safety Kainoa Winston, creating a formidable future for the middle of the secondary. Given the Wolverines have lost a number of recruiting battles with Notre Dame over the years, taking away the Irish’s top defensive commitment in the cycle is a big win for the maize and blue.
