HORRY, S.C. (WPDE) — A former Horry County Police Officer was arrested by state police officers on three charges, at the request of Myrtle Beach Police Chief Amy Prock, according to state officials.
On Friday, Chief Prock requested investigators with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) look into an incident involving Quintard Tucker, according to Myrtle Beach Police Cpl. Chris Starling.
Tucker was arrested by SLED agents the same day, for domestic violence in the third-degree, burglary in the first degree, and assault and battery in the first degree, according to arrest warrants from state police.

On Thursday, March 23, Tucker entered a room at the Compass Resort in the Myrtle Beach area of Horry County without permission, the warrants state.
It says Tucker physically assaulted a victim by throwing them on a bed and striking them four times with a closed fist, causing swelling on the victim's head and cuts on their face.
The warrants point to security footage showing Tucker pushing the victim to the resort's parking lot ground twice.

Officer Tucker paid for a motel room for them for the night until the couple’s family could get them a bus ticket the next day.
