Due to severe weather delaying Beyoncé's Sunday "Renaissance Tour" show, Metro extended its last train by an hour.

Concertgoers waited nearly two hours for a shelter-in-place to end at FedEx Field before the performance began.

Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour funded the additional hour of Metro service -- covering the $100,000 cost to run more trains --- keeping all 98 stations open for customers to exit, and other operational expenses. During the extended service period, customers could only enter Morgan Boulevard, the station closest to FedExField. All other stations were exit only.

Last trains from Morgan Boulevard depart:

Silver Line:

  • To Ashburn: 1:04 a.m.

Blue Line:

  • To Franconia-Springfield: Customers traveling toward Franconia-Springfield should take the 1:04 a.m. Silver Line train toward Ashburn and transfer to the Blue Line at Metro Center.

Customers are advised that the walk between FedExField and Morgan Boulevard Station can take up to 30 minutes, depending on crowds and other factors.
