From a top down perspective, during challenging times, the core workforce of any business often bears the brunt of the extra workload. Understanding their challenges and adapting goals to be realistic according to challenging times is pivotal to keeping a strong team together when the going gets rough. It is important to make it known the reasoning behind temporary goal shifts so they understand that you empathize with their daily challenges. If goals are not able to be shifted, the next step is to invest in tools to assist your workforce to get the job done without pushing any team members over their reasonable limits. In most of the cases Service industry is still a thankless kind of profession. As a instance we can recall a doctors name but hardly can recall the nurse or ward boys name who has taken care of the patient during the hospitalisation. So, I belive a passion to serve, self motivation is the best strength of an individual to work in Service Industry. Now as a leader, one should be empathetic and visionery to project a GOAL which is result oriented. The same has to be align and agile too as per the need of the hour and should have "Never Settle" mentality.
