Mudlarks introduces the stories told within the museum in an interactive, stimulating environment that supports children's learning and development through exploratory play.

Mudlarks tickets are available to book before you visit. You can select your preferred date and timeslot.

Session 1: 10.10 – 10.50am

Session 2: 10.55 – 11.35am

Session 3: 11.45am – 12.25pm

Session 4: 12.35 – 1.15pm

Session 5: 1.35 – 2.15pm

Session 6: 2.25 – 3.05pm

Session 7: 3.15 – 3.55pm

Session 8: 4.00 – 4.40pm

Visitor information

Tickets for Mudlarks are £2.50 for each adult and child above 9 months old.

A minimum of one adult is required to be booked to supervise children in the gallery.
Tickets go on sale two weeks in advance every Saturday at 10am.
Tickets must be booked for every member of the group entering the gallery.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when visiting the museum.
If you are late for your timeslot, you may join at any time within that timeslot. If you miss the timeslot, you will be offered space in the next available timeslot subject to capacity.
Food and drink is not permitted in the gallery.
Each time slot is 35 minutes play and 5 minutes tidying-up time.
Refunds for Mudlarks tickets are available up to 48 hours before the date of visit, in accordance with the museum’s terms and conditions for ticket sales.
Visitors who receive Universal Credit or other legacy benefits are able to visit Mudlarks for free during off-peak timeslot. Please contact the box office for further information.
