Miguel Roggero

Chairman & CEO, Fuse Media

Miguel Roggero is the Chairman & CEO of Fuse Media, LLC, the Latino-owned entertainment company known for celebrating and amplifying young, multicultural voices. He is a media veteran with extensive experience in funding, building, and creating companies that prioritize representation and inclusion. It was Roggero’s commitment to championing diversity in media that was the driving force behind his decision to form the management group that acquired a majority, controlling interest in the company in late 2020. Fuse Media is now one of the few Latino-owned and operated enterprises in entertainment.

Under Roggero’s leadership, including his 13-year tenure with Fuse Media’s predecessors SiTV and NUVOtv as COO and CFO, the company evolved from an English-language, Latino-focused cable channel, to a global media brand dedicated to empowering young, multicultural audiences with vibrant content that genuinely reflects their life experiences.

The company’s portfolio includes streaming services Fuse+, Fuse Backstage, Fuse Beat and Fuse Sweat; linear channels Fuse and FM; Fuse Studios, its in-house production arm; as well as a growing branded content and live events business.

Roggero co-developed and executive produced a six-part documentary for NUVOtv called PastPort: A Journey Back Home, which follows American Latino celebrities back to their parents’ countries of origin.

Previously, Roggero held executive positions at The Walt Disney Company where he managed the relationship between Disney’s video game unit and major international technology and consumer goods companies. He was part of the founding management team that launched and established Disney as a leader in the interactive entertainment space. He also held executive positions within Paramount Pictures’ television group, and at PepsiCo’s Pizza Hut subsidiary, where, as the Region CFO, he helped manage the brand’s portfolio of 200 restaurants in the Western United States region.

Roggero also has extensive experience helping SaaS (software-as-a-service) companies grow. He was a group executive with Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier, where he managed the turnaround of a portfolio of international publishing businesses. During his tenure there, he also served as COO for the company’s eLogic, Inc. subsidiary, a SaaS provider of real-time information and content management for the publishing industry. Prior to eLogic, Roggero served as CFO and executive vice president of operations at eMind LLC, a leading SaaS provider of learning solutions for the financial services industry, which was subsequently acquired by The Washington Post. He also founded his own private investment company that acquired and managed middle market companies and multi-family real estate properties.

Roggero is committed to discovering diverse, up and coming creative talent and creating opportunities to showcase their talent. At Fuse, he oversaw the company’s introduction of a diversity-focused internship program in partnership with The T. Howard Foundation. He is also a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) whose mission is to increase the number and influence of qualified Latinos on corporate boards.

Roggero has been named CableFAX: The Magazine’s prestigious “100 Top Power Players” and “Most Influential Minorities” lists. He has also been named to the Imagen Foundation’s annual list of Most Powerful and Influential Latinos in Entertainment.

A first-generation son of a Cuban mother and a Peruvian father, Roggero resides in Pasadena, CA with his wife and three children. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he graduated as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
