Certified Florida Farm Wineries and Vineyards

To qualify as a tourist attraction, a Florida winery must be certified annually by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) as a Florida Farm Winery.

Qualification Standards

To qualify as a Florida Farm Winery, a winery must meet the following standards:

Produce and sell less than 250,000 gallons of wine annually of which 60 percent of the wine produced is made from state agricultural products.
Maintain an operating vineyard with a minimum of 5 acres of owned or managed land in Florida that produces commodities used in the production of wine.
Be open to the public for tours, tastings and sales at least 30 hours each week.

How to Apply

A winery must apply annually to FDACS for certification.

To apply, complete and submit an Application for Florida Farm Winery Certification[ ]. You must also submit a $100 application and registration fee.

Renewals

A winery must apply for recertification[ ] each year. In addition to paying the annual application and registration fee of $100, you must submit a licensing fee of $10 for each Florida Farm Winery logo, emblem and directional sign in place.
