Stress Assistance Available for Farmers and Farmworkers
Florida farming isn’t a career, it’s a way of life. While the daily stresses of farming can be physically and emotionally demanding, 50% of farmers say it’s difficult to access therapy or counseling in their community.
That’s why the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is providing farmers and farmworkers with personalized support in their local communities through a multilingual 24-hour helpline. If you or someone you know is feeling overwhelmed, depressed or anxious, help is available. Talk to someone who will listen and provide the local resources needed to get through tough times.
