Katerina Sergatskova is journalist, safety trainer, co-founder of the Zaborona Media, 2402 Foundation, and Ukrainian Photographic War Archive. She is a board member of Hromadske Television. She received Kurt Shork Awards for war reporting in Ukraine (2015), Free Media Award (2022) and Texas Tech University’s Excellence in International Journalism and Human Rights Award (2023) for covering human rights and investigations.

From 2023, Katerina is an Executive Director of the 2402 Foundation in Ukraine and Daily Humanity organization based in Denmark. Both aimed at promoting safety culture on organizational and individual levels.
