Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) is one of Ireland’s largest hospitals, with a proud history of digital innovation. With cybersecurity threats on the increase worldwide in the healthcare industry, TUH wanted to ensure all of its sensitive patient information was kept well-protected. TUH already had a VMware footprint and wanted to continue using VMware due to its reliability and good track record within healthcare. Together with local VMware partner PFH Technology Group, the hospital deployed VMware NSX Data Center to micro-segment its applications, so in the event of a breach the hospital’s other applications aren’t compromised.
