Dr. Emily Karlin enjoys all aspects of cardiology, including everything from evaluation of puppies and kittens with congenital heart disease to long-term management older animals with acquired heart disease. She also enjoys seeing horses and exotic pets. The relationships formed with patients and clients are some of the most rewarding parts of her job.
Dr. Karlin grew up on a farm in Massachusetts and always wanted to be either a veterinarian or a teacher. At Tufts she gets to do both of those things! Her dog "Little Dog" also loves helping veterinary students learn skills like how to do physical examinations and brief heart ultrasounds.
