Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases

The APR for purchases is the prime rate plus (i) 11.99% for Account Type 1, or (ii) 20.99% for Account Type 2, or (iii) 23.99% for Account Type 3.

Rates are determined when you open your account, based on your creditworthiness and other factors. APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate, as defined in the Venmo Visa Credit Card Account Agreement.

APR for Cash Advances

The APR for cash advances is the prime rate plus 23.99%.
This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate, as defined in the Venmo Visa Credit Card Agreement. 

Penalty APR and When it Applies

The Penalty APR is the prime rate plus 27.49%. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate, as defined in the Venmo Visa Credit Card Agreement.

This APR may be applied to your account if you make a late payment.

How Long Will the Penalty APR Apply?: If your APRs are increased for this reason, the Penalty APR may remain in effect indefinitely. See the Venmo Credit Card Account Agreement for more details.

Paying Interest

Your due date is at least 23 days after the close of each billing cycle. We will not charge you any interest on purchases if you pay your entire balance by the due date each month. We will begin charging interest on cash advances on the transaction date. See the Venmo Credit Card Account Agreement for more details.

If you are charged interest, the charge will be no less than $2.00.
