Zwift Increases Price for First Time Since 2017

The new rate will go into effect starting today for new customers and at the next pay cycle after June 6 for current customers.

Popular virtual training platform Zwift announced its first price increase since 2017, raising the monthly subscription fee from $14.99 USD to $19.99. Likewise, the annual subscription fee has risen from $149.99 to $199.99.

The price change will go into effect immediately for new customers to the platform and at the next billing date after June 6 for existing customers. Existing Zwift users will be notified today of the price increase.

“Despite rising inflationary pressure, we’ve worked hard to keep our prices locked since 2017,” says a statement from Zwift. “This change will allow us to continue our commitment to bringing you even more product benefits, new features, and content experiences in the months and years to come.”

Since the last rate increase seven years ago, Zwift has significantly in the number of features and rideable area. In addition to expanding both the Watopia and London worlds, the Long Beach, California based company has added six new worlds and two event maps to its platform.

In addition to cycling, Zwift also offers virtual running in the platform, which remains a free feature.
