Skip the coffee and reserve a seat for high tea ($39 per person). Once settled at the elegantly dressed table, guests enjoy finger toasts (think Japanese egg salad or creamy pear toast), scones, cakes, and desserts.

Reminiscent of an old English tea house, this quirky Victorian cottage setting is unlike any room in Las Vegas. Tea time is available Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-2:30pm with 90 minute seatings. Choose from two elegant experiences. Afternoon Tea ($48 per person) is lighter with two tiers of gourmet tea sandwiches and freshly baked scones served with homemade jams. The High Tea Service ($58) offers a three-tiered selection of pastries, scones, and cakes. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available upon request with 24 hours notice.

For a super elegant tea service, head to the Bellagio where the caviar and piano bar flawlessly delivers afternoon tea Friday through Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The menu features imported teas, miniature pastries, open-faced sandwiches, and scones with clotted cream, and as is customary here, live piano music. In true Vegas style, the lobby-adjacent bar faces out to the casino floor.

Leave it to the Virgin Hotel to take the afternoon tea concept and turn it on its head. Here, you’ll snack on savory and sweet treats while sipping from boozy teapots that spill out apple brandy and vanilla vodka enhanced teas. Chicken curry gougere and serrano ham and brie sandwiches are complemented by fruity macarons, cream puffs, and bonbons. Available on Sundays from 12pm-4pm ($49 per person). 

The setting inside the Waldorf Astoria is elegant and serene. The restaurant serves an English afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday where they present several tea sandwiches — porchetta, curry chicken, egg gougere, and smoked salmon–coupled with fresh scones and a handful of small desserts.

Tucked inside Mandalay Bay, the Four Seasons Hotel offers an intimate afternoon tea at the bright, contemporary poolside restaurant. Tea service is available from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays ($45 per person) and requires reservations. Select from a wide selection of organic teas (jasmine, peppermint, and golden chamomile blossom among them) and dive into traditional scones with Devonshire cream, along with light sandwiches, pastries, and tarts.  

Afternoon tea at this “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired space includes a menu of memorable bites. For $55 per person (reservations required) guests can sample a couple of teas, and snack on cream puffs outfitted with White Rabbit ears, buttery shortbread stenciled like playing cards, and a number of finger sandwiches. They also offer a vegan tea party experience. 

This flowery tea room features a handful of options, including the Duke’s Tea (a gluten-free meal), and a Queen or King’s tea with slight menu adjustments. All come with a pot of tea and three-tier cake stand with a variety of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and desserts. Mimosas and champagne are also available.
