Nicholas Galitzine (born September 29, 1994) is an English actor who gained prominence for starring as the lead in several romance films, including Netflix's "Purple Hearts" and Prime Video's "Cinderella," "Red, White & Royal Blue" and "The Idea of You." After acting in a 2015 episode of the TNT drama series "Legends," Galitzine booked leading roles in the films "High Strung" and "Handsome Devil." He had a supporting role in the 2020 horror reboot "The Craft: Legacy." His breakout year arrived in 2020 when he was cast in the Prince Charming role opposite pop star Camilla Cabello in Prime Video's "Cinderella" musical. The role opened the door for Galitzine in Hollywood. He soon became a de facto romantic lead, starring opposite Sofia Carson in Netflix's military romance "Purple Hearts." The film became a surprise sensation for the streaming giant and heightened Galitzine's popularity on social media, as did his chemistry with Taylor Zakhar Perez in the gay romance "Red, White & Royal Blue." He had a supporting turn in the popular teen comedy "Bottoms," and then teamed up with Anne Hathaway for the romance "The Idea of You." Galitzine played a heartthrob boy band singer who falls for a 40-year-old single mother. On television, Galitzine's credits include "Chambers" and "George & Mary."
