Amazon's LoveFilm Pacts With Viacom

Amazon’s VOD service LoveFilm has inked a deal with Viacom International Media Networks to stream a raft of TV content from its channels such as MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Comedy Central.

The deal will see hundreds of hours of popular reality TV series, comedy and children’s entertainment stream on the U.K. and German on-demand service.

Shows available under the deal include “The Hills,” “Punk’d,” “Teen Mom” and “Jersey Shore” as well as the U.K. spin-off “Geordie Shore.”

Also available are children’s series such as “Dora the Explorer,” “Blue’s Clues,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Team Umizoomi,” “Bubble Guppies” and “Go Diego Go!”

LoveFilm has more than 2 million subscribers across Blighty and Germany and has inked content deals with major studios and indies including Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Universal, Disney, Sony Pictures, Studiocanal and eOne.
