Psychology clinic

Offering affordable psychological services to the community.

Based at UniSA’s Magill Campus, the Psychology Clinic provides high-quality, affordable psychological services to the general community.

Psychological therapy is provided by provisional psychologists (postgraduate clinical psychology students) under the supervision of fully-qualified clinical psychologists.

We help you find ways to overcome difficulties and cope better so that you have a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life.

We offer therapeutic services for children, adolescents and adults in areas including:

  • anxiety and related disorders (panic, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, illness anxiety)
  • depression and mood problems
  • eating disorders
  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and adjustment problems
  • sleep problems
  • child emotional and behavioural problems
  • assessments of learning difficulties

In addition to our face-to-face services, we can also facilitate e-therapy or telepsychology sessions for clients who prefer not to attend a face-to-face appointment or are located in rural and remote areas of South Australia.

We offer up to 20 individual sessions for adult therapy clients and up to 20 sessions of parent sessions for child therapy (combination of parent-only and joint parent-child sessions).

Please note that sessions are video recorded for training purposes. Recordings are only viewed by the treating provisional psychologist and their supervisor and erased once checked; they are not shown in classes.

Please note: child assessments and therapy services will only be provided where we have permission from both caregivers.

See our full list of services below.
