The first LEAP24-Shurgard Ultra Rapid Charging Station in London is almost ready to roll! 💚💛 On March 4th, we proudly announced our partnership with SHURGARD Self-Storage in the Netherlands and England. And now, just a month later, we've embarked on the journey to install the very first Ultra Rapid charging stations at two magnificent Shurgard locations in the bustling city of London. ⚡ Strattford Road (Croydon Fiveways) marks our inaugural Shurgard site, where construction is already underway. This week, we've completed the rough groundwork, with the power connection expected by early May. Additionally, we're kicking off construction at Portsmouth Road, the second of many locations to come in London. To maintain speed and efficiency, we're launching a new construction project every Monday. 👷 Working closely with TSG UK, we're deploying all our resources as efficiently as possible in this vibrant metropolis. Pelle Schlichting showcased LEAP24 growth plans for the United Kingdom at the British Embassy Seminar Event. 🎤 At the "Growth opportunities in the UK" networking event, LEAP24 founder Pelle Schlichting delved into LEAP24 UK's ambitions and activities in the British market. With a focus on electrification, Pelle discussed the opportunities and challenges caused by initiatives like the ULEZ zone in London, the largest low emission zone in Europe. 💚 The zero emission ambitions in the UK are massive: by 2030, 70% of sold delivery vans have to be emission-free, and by 2035, 100%. ⚡ 👷♂️ LEAP24 is actively building a network of fast-charging stations in the UK to contribute towards making these zero-emission goals a reality.
