NEW ESG REPORT "We aim to set high standards for well-being and diversity and to minimise our climate impact." 🎯 That is the vision we decided upon when we adopted an ambitious five-year ESG strategy in 2023. We are now pleased to share our efforts, results, and goals in our ESG report for 2023. Overall, we have worked on the implementation of four strategic points: 🍃 Climate We have submitted our emission reduction targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and we have published our first climate account, showing that we have reduced our CO2e emissions from 2022 to 2023. 🤝 Well-being A balanced work life that both attracts and retains the most talented employees is crucial for our company. One significant initiative has been the abolition of our standard working hours. Another has been the launch of our internal network "KR Family." 🔵🟦 DE&I Diversity, equity, and inclusion are crucial for our firm. Among other things, we have initiated training in bias-aware leadership, participate in a Ph.D. project on diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, and we mark selected cultural and religious holidays throughout the year. 👜 ESG advisory services We aim to offer the highest quality of sustainability advice and inspire our clients regarding ESG. We continuously focus on ESG knowledge sharing and advisory across our specialist teams. Read our ESG report and get to know us even better. The report is a combination of text, video, and images, designed to be easily accessible, whether you are using a computer, tablet, or mobile: https://lnkd.in/d2ZAzC4B Happy reading! 📖

Since the 1980s, stringent documentation requirements for medicinal products have grown necessary for obtaining marketing authorization. Without it, these products cannot enter the market. Extensive documentation, especially for safety and efficacy, shortens the effective patent protection period compared to other technologies. Consequently, various jurisdictions, including the EU, have implemented rules to provide supplementary protection for medicinal products. The European Commission has proposed a revision to the rules governing Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPC) for medicinal products in the EU. Presented on July 26, 2023, the proposal aims to improve and simplify the SPC application process, enhancing efficiency and legal certainty. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e6Q-P-Qp

It will start applying 12 months after its entry into force. This article covers certain key points of the Green Bonds Regulation, which needs to be complied with in order for issuers in the future being able to issue bonds labelled as "European Green Bonds" or "EuGBs". This article also covers the recent regulatory spotlight that has been pointed at sustainability (ESG) disclosures in prospectuses and marketing materials concerning green bonds, sustainability-linked bonds and bonds in general. Please reach out to Peter Kirkehei Qvist and August Nicolai Fristad Boe for any questions.
