MAD Product are a creative product development & design company, focusing on developing sustainable, own-label party and tableware ranges for large volume and grocery retailers.

Technologist - Job Specification
Essentially, we want a team who love product, design, trend and creating fantastic ranges for our customers.
In addition to the above, the ideal person for this role would be someone who is passionate, hard-working, loves having fun and travelling out to meet with factories and discover new ones. Someone who forward thinking and ready to challenge the norm!
Being super organised and flexible is MAD life!!
Knowledge of all the usual Microsoft systems is a must; Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc etc. and a good understanding of accreditations such as FSC, BRC, SEDEX etc is essential as well to this role.
The Role...
• Managing the products from a product safety and legislation perspective, ensuring that products conform to not only to safety, quality and integrity standards - but our own MAD standards and customer expectations as well!
• Sample management and approval - working with the PD team, with our retail partners and the factories to sign off ranges.
• Product technical specification creation and management - effectively briefing the factories on what is needed!
• Work externally with partners just as test houses, global labs and corporations such as BRC, SEDEX etc
• Manage and devlop key accredations such as FSC, retailer audits etc.
• Stay ‘market-aware’ and support with analysis and market reviews, both in the UK but also globally.
• Work closely and build great relationships with our partner factories, visit them for development meetings and product sign off’s and generally getting a feel for how they manufacture product!
