👩🏻‍🔧 What you’ll be doing…

  • Producing good quality tested code for user stories by adhering to Unibuddy coding practices, with support and supervision.
  • Contributing to fixes, features and tests, improving documentation along the way.
  • Collaborating with your squad; designers, product managers, and engineers to contribute your ideas to define the future of the product.
  • Learning to understand and help evolve the high level architecture of Unibuddy engineering systems.
  • Identifying and fixing bugs within the owned feature area, looking to optimise existing work.
  • Actively participating in squad ceremonies, school meetings, code reviews and other meetings.
  • With support in understanding the domains and our context, developing and pushing amazing code to production!

👨🏽‍💻This might be for you if…

  • You’re proficient in relevant programming languages and are constantly looking to improve your coding quality.
  • You have a real eagerness to grow and to pick up work, even if your knowledge is limited in the area.
  • You’re proactive with finding documentation to extend your current knowledge.
  • You aren’t afraid to ask for help and seek support from your squad to solve problems.

  • Salary of £30,000-£35,000 (experience dependent)
