The social media executive role will be responsible for supporting the Senior Social Media Manager with executing the social media strategy at Lyst, with a focus on TikTok. The position sits within the Brand Marketing team and reports directly to the senior social media manager, but also works cross functionally with the Partnerships and Editorial teams.

The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter, with the ability to ideate and execute content opportunities that help grow brand awareness, maintain social engagement and support the business' growth.

The right candidate will possess an almost-encyclopaedic fashion knowledge, be highly engaged with the industry and hungry to work across powerful brand moments at Lyst, from The Lyst Index report to editing on the ground during fashion month and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Senior Social Media Manager to create and post daily stories, videos and posts, prioritising TikTok and Instagram
  • Utilise multimedia elements such as images, graphics and videos to enhance content effectiveness. This includes the ability to film, edit and post content with tools such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop
  • Edit and proofread content in collaboration with our copywriting team
  • Liaise with core members of the business on cross-channel activations as well as report on post-campaign analytics
  • Optimise and create content based on organic analytics and opportunities
  • Advise and propose creative ideas based on incoming briefs
  • Be a Lyst brand guardian, ensure all of our content abides by our brand guidelines and tone of voice standards
  • Stay up to date with advances in social media trends and tools


Requirements

  • A thorough understanding of social media channels, with an understanding of the different channel nuances, especially Tiktok, Instagram and Linkedin.
  • Fluency in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and social reporting/ scheduling tools such as Dash Hudson, Sprout Social or similar
  • The ability to film and edit best-in-class short-form content for both Instagram and TikTok, from product demonstrations to brand and partner storytelling
  • Ability to digest and respond to partner briefs through engaging, creative content that fulfils both partner and brand KPIs
  • Work quickly to product quality output to tight deadlines and turnarounds
  • An understanding of always-on socials, which may mean working out-of-hours during key calendar moments such as fashion month
  • Able to travel both nationally and internationally, if required
  • Experience with organic socials and / or experience in paid marketing is also welcomed
  • Experience working with luxury fashion is ideal but not mandatory
