Social Media Executive
Summary and purpose of role:
To support the Marketing Manager and Marketing team to create and implement social media and content strategies across the business, to manage the execution of brand content across JOSEPH and DESIGNERS at social media channels, and to promote and maintain an active, positive brand image.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Includes but not limited to:
Social Media
- Create on-brand, engaging daily content for social media platforms across international key markets: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn to support ecommerce, marketing & retail strategies.
- Devising compelling content strategies to drive impressions, engagement, site visits and sales through content.
- Source imagery and write captions for all above social media platforms daily.
- Cross-functional working with channel owners(Retail, Ecommerce).
- Interact with key press, blogger, designer and digital influencers on social media to establish & maintain strong relationships and increase JOSEPH online exposure.
- Act as ‘community manager’ working closelywith customer servicesto manage any comments efficiently and in accordance to company guidelines.
- Maintaining relationships with contacts withinthe industry (bloggers, photographers,
- digital influencers) to feature on JOSEPH’s social channels.
- Propose and project manage specific influencer campaigns: Liaison with management agencies and contracts (in close partnership with Joseph legal teams).
- Staying ahead of the curve on culture news, always up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
Content
- Planning, sourcing, writing and curating original content for social channels
- Managing small-scale shoots for Designers At and working closely with the Art Director to create on brand content
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure the brand maximizes content creation at all opportunities
- Working closely with the digital marketing team to ensure content consistency across paid channels
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- BA degree or equivalent in media / journalism / fashion or equivalent related field
- Proficient in photoshop and preferably all of adobe suite
- Strategic thinker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify market trends
- Strong interest in and understanding of the digital media landscape, particularly within Social Media
- A self-starter with creative problem-solving ability
- Resilient under pressure and highly organised
- Must be a team player
