Our Copy Editors play a pivotal role in ensuring that our AI model adheres to the style guide, is impeccably written, and captivates the reader. Key Responsibilities:
Content Review and Editing: Thoroughly review, edit, and proofread a variety of content ensuring they meet our quality standards.
Style Guide Development: Create, update, and maintain a comprehensive style guide to ensure consistency and clarity in all written materials.
Consistency and Style: Enforce consistency in style, tone, and voice across all content. Ensure adherence to the company's style guide and editorial policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with writers, editors, and content creators to provide constructive feedback and guidance, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Training and Mentorship: Mentor junior editors and writers, providing training on best practices and industry standards.
Process Improvement: Develop and refine editorial processes and guidelines to enhance efficiency and quality.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging editorial standards, and new tools and technologies in copy editing and proofreading.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in copy editing and proofreading, preferably in a senior role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Skills:
