Senior Business Development Manager

Salary £60,000 - £80,000 (Dependent on expereince)

This is a business development and account management role, focusing on the acquisition of new strategic, large business opportunities, often engaging at a senior level.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of a new client base and building long term relationships – focusing on a value proposition and introducing new products and services where appropriate.

Key skills required:

• Strong interpersonal skills, confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team-player.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the UK energy markets.
• Experience in negotiating and selling fixed and flexible energy contracts.
• Strong interpersonal skills, confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team-player.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and engage with a matrix audience.
• Adaptable, innovative and customer centric.
• Purpose driven and able to work effectively in a busy and complex environment.
• High attention to detail whilst meeting multiple and competing deadlines.
• Comfortable with taking ownership and proposing adjustments and improvements.
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders toward strategic directions, product development, and profitable customer value delivery.
• Ability to clearly present complex structures and solutions
