We are seeking a Senior Associate (Senior Account Executive) to join our dynamic Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B and/or corporate Technology PR. We are looking for an established Account Executive ready to take a step up into the SAE role, or an SAE looking for a new opportunity.


Responsibilities


  1. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their needs and managing expectations on items you are responsible for. Experience working with global tech companies is a plus.
  2. Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts – across both national and trade press. Pitch stories and secure coverage for clients in the right publications for their audiences.
  3. Content Creation: Write and edit press releases, blog posts, social media content, and other PR materials.
  4. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic PR plans for current clients, but also for news business projects.
  5. Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff members and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment.


Qualifications


  • Experience: A few years’ experience in B2B and/or corporate technology PR within an agency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the tech industry and current trends.
  • Media Relations: Proven ability to build relationships with media and secure coverage for clients across national and trade press. Existing relationships with technology media a huge plus.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team and mentor junior staff members.
  • Time management: Ability to manage your time effectively, understanding when to prioritise certain tasks and manage team expectations accordingly.
