We are working with a highly successful and established engineering team based in Stockport who are seeking to welcome a Production Manager for their team.

Working with a committed team of CAD specialists and engineers on site, the Production Manager will have superb people skills and be able to manage people at all levels of the business, from Apprentice to Senior Engineer as well as the client base too.

The ideal candidate will be:

• able to work to production schedules and deadlines effectively
• able to communicate directly with clients and manage stakeholder relationships
• attend production meetings and commercial meetings with directors
• travel to sites in UK occasionally with overnight stays
• experienced in precision engineering with experience of technical production
• demonstrate superb people skills and excellent communication skills
• be able to prioritise and respond to client requirement with urgency
• highly organised and able to plan in work schedules and respond to change in work planning
• work with sales team effectively
• be flexible for very occasional weekend work as required
• take accountability and take ownership of health and safety procedures and compliance
• work with strong attention to detail and complete stock taking procedure too
