We are looking for a Key account manager who will consistently achieve sales targets and defined commercial objectives set through a strategic planning process and delivered through a process of advanced Key Account Management (KAM). This is a great Account Management role to work with key clients.
Your responsibilities:
- Implementing and management of commercial programmes and agreements to maximise sales benefit within key accounts.
- Working within allocated budgets and the company’s processes. Understanding and appropriate use of pricing and discount structures.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the market and identifying commercial threats and opportunities through market changes.
- Communicating implications and impact of commercial programmes to company’s stakeholders including sales personnel, supply chain, marketing and finance.
- Collaboration with stakeholders when making changes to programmes.
- Working closely with all key departments, specifically marketing, finance, and supply teams.
- Building and sustaining effective and long-term relationships with key customers, internal and external organisations.
- Acquisition of new business.
- Adhering to the company’s policies, procedures and GDP Code of Practice.
Skills requirements:
- Experience selling to mainline wholesaler, short line wholesaler and large pharmacy groups.
- Must have experience of working with Generic products.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changes and new strategies.
- Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer’s needs.
- Excellent listening and negotiating skills.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license.
