This is an exciting opportunity for a senior marketing professional to drive targeted work-winning activity via national marketing campaigns. From small-scale or shorter-term projects that elevate new products, services and thought leadership themes, to larger, longer-term strategic campaigns that position the business at an industry level, the role is varied, creative, and integral to the marketing function. The role is supported by outstanding graphic design/brand and content management teams.
You will have overall responsibility for end-to-end campaigns driving both external and internal communication and business development practices.
Working ‘hand in glove’ with the Marketing Director, National Marketing Communications Manager, and wider marketing team, you will plan and execute campaigns of all scales across multiple marketing channels. Internal and external stakeholder engagement is key.
External campaigns
We are a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy of over 900 staff in 21 offices across the UK. You will have overall responsibility for end-to-end campaigns driving both external and internal communication and business development practices.
Working ‘hand in glove’ with the Marketing Director, National Marketing Communications Manager, and wider marketing team, you will plan and execute campaigns of all scales across multiple marketing channels. Internal and external stakeholder engagement is key.
External campaigns
- Working with key stakeholders across the business, you will identify and develop external campaigns that position us appropriately in the market as insightful, future-thinking, and client-centric.
- You will be responsible for developing the angles and key messaging for these external campaigns, advising on channels and programme. You will manage the execution of those activities.
- You will define the target audience and advise on appropriate follow up approaches.
- Campaign measurement, including tracking ROI, demonstrating brand growth and work won is key to the role.
- You will work collaboratively with the Marketing Director to agree how each campaign will be rolled out.
- You will work with the National Marketing Communications Manager to plan education and communication strategies that support campaign management programmes in our business, e.g gamechanger themes and embedding sustainability across every facet of the business.
- You will work closely with our Innovation Delivery team and other stakeholders involved in major change management programmes.
- 10+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a professional services environment
- A proven track record in developing strategic initiatives
- People management experience and building teams
- A hunger for driving marketing activity that demonstrates tangible sales value and brand awareness
- Demonstrable experience leading campaigns and/or marketing activity that utilise the whole marketing mix, with a keen eye for digital marketing channels and practices
- CRM management and reporting experience, ideally within using HubSpot
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, curiosity, and the willingness work as a team player.
