Responsibilities
Reviewing and editing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies
Conducting research to gather supporting evidence and ensuring legal content is accurate and up-to-date
Collaborating with the legal team to develop and refine legal materials
Fact-checking and verifying legal information
Ensuring consistency and adherence to established legal writing standards
Proofreading legal documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
Assisting in the development and implementation of legal writing guidelines and style guides
Requirements
Analytical Skills, Research, and Text Editing skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and remotely
Previous experience in editing legal documents is preferred
Previous experience working with a publisher is preferred
